Teahupo’o Village Hit With Flash Flooding, Cars Swept Into Ocean

Not even 24 hours after sparkling visions of lunatics launching through Teahupo’o slabs graced our digital feeds, we have been confronted with something somehow more terrifying.

Flash floods have muddied the water, engulfed houses, and sucked cars into the sea.

“Teahupoo Village has drowned. Some of them lost their houses, their cars. Some of them lost everything. I just created a link to help us get water, food, and help the most people we can around here.”
