Russell Bierke Drops His Greatest Hits From The Past Decade

“There’s not many people who treat big waves like a fucking play pen,” said Noa Deane after the Milton premiere of ‘The Outermost Edge of Leisure’, the 2023 SEOTY winner. 

Noa added, “what sets Russ apart from a lot of people is that he surfs 12-15 ft waves like they’re six, which is just fucked. He takes off where he wants to and gets super deep and rides it more than just surviving it. He’s the best at everything to do with big waves. He’s crazy at slabs and obviously Jaws and shit where you’ve got to get pitted. He’s nuts out there too. Not many people have the heavy pit waves dialed and also have that big paddle in stuff dialed. Most people are happy with getting one wave that’s fucked up and just hanging their hat up. Russ does this stuff all year.”

The 29-year-old from the South Coast of NSW has now assembled all his A++ clips in a timeline. From Bezerke, Flow State, Inner Mechanics, The Outermost Edge of Leisure, Stimulant, The Eddie, Jaws and even some Cape Fear clips which he took out almost 10 years ago to the day.

Unbelievable when you see it all stuck together. The brutality this man has subjected his carcass to is breathtaking.
