Ozzy Wrong Gets Bukited

A good old postcard of ze Bukit.

Canang saris, smiley Balinese warung lords, splendid left reefs, trompongs, anklungs, gongs, mi goreng.

Fuck that joint is good.

Then Oz. Also wonderful.

“All flying elbows and knees,” surf scribe Matt George once described his style.

I get that.

Now I’m not calling Oz wrinkly. Quite the opposite. Guy is in the best shape of his life. Can supposedly put his feet behind his head. Off booze. Surfing heaps. Yogi master. But Mark Twain wrote “wrinkles should merely indicate where the smiles have been”.

That might be true of Oz.

Been found guilty of having fun on multiple occasions.

I hope to be jumping off monkey temples in the Bukit past 40 too.

From filmmaker Jack Coleman, “Ozzie Wright flies to Bali for a quick strike mission to complete shooting for his part in ‘ZONE FREQUENCY’ – a fun week with Oz on the Buket – competing in the ULU Classic, playing uke, cliff jumping, and scoring the track & Padang – all to the sights & sounds of vibrant Bali”
