Owen Wright Is Giving Someone A 4-Day Byron Holiday & Surf Lesson For $40
Did I read that right?
Unconventional PR.
When done right, fucking incredible (re: The Dollar Shave Club), when done wrong, cringe and humiliating (re: Musk and Cybertruck’s ‘indestructible armor glass demo’).
This one with Airbnb and Owen Wright’s ‘Paradiso Property Deal’ is kinda genius (and confusing). Here’s the presser below.
Olympic bronze medallist, Owen Wright is right in the thick of training for his 2022 WSL Championship Tour Wildcard debut in January where the The Tour is set to begin in Hawaii at Pipeline on O’ahu’s North Shore – where Owen had his traumatic brain injury back in 2015.
Off the back of the Olympics and heading into the 2022 WSL season he’s been spending a lot of time surfing here in Australia and looking to inspire the next generation of Aussie stars this summer. Airbnb has partnered with Surfing Australia and Owen Wright to find the best beach holidays with availability over the summer for those looking for a last minute getaway.
To help kick off the campaign, Olympic medalist, pro surfer, Airbnb Superhost and all around Aussie legend Owen Wright is offering one family an unforgettable summer getaway with a special four-night family beach stay at his luxury Byron Bay surf shack, Paradiso Property from the 4-8th January.
Best part of all the stay includes a once-in-a-lifetime surf session at one of Owen’s favourite local surf spots with the big man himself. The absolute dream for young surfers looking to meet one of their idols.
In regards to the competition, It opens at 12 midday on the 24th November. The first person to book will only pay $40 for the entire 4 night stay at Owen’s airbnb beach house and surfing lesson with Owen himself.
It sounds too good to be true, but I guess… it’s not – First filled-out application wins.
Quick fingers be ready. Deal of a lifetime.
