Above, the San Clemente mafia certifiably smite some perilously tiny sections in California without any of the usual small-wave assistance mechanisms (epoxy, twin fins, dignity, etc.)
It’s no wonder these guys cleaned up shop on the QS.
Though Jake Paterson may have claimed Brother would qualify for the CT surfing “switchfoot,” the 2% Don sits at equal 55th on the Challenger Series — notably behind #14 ranked Kade Matson and #6 Crosby Colapinto (both featured above). Andino will surf his first heat in the Ballito CS tomorrow, in what will likely be slightly better waves than those featured.
