More Of The Gudauskas Bros Powering On Vintage Surfboards?
You know you wanna.
The Gudauskas brothers have always been tethered in their surfing roots. Never afraid to hop on archaic polyurethane experimentations, Dane, Tanner, and Pat employ their talents often in the name of nostalgia.
So, Tanner’s series ‘Finders Keepers’ makes a whole lot of sense.
In his second episode, he unveils a board whose label is notched unmistakably in the history of Hawaiian surfing — and coincidentally, the childhood of the Gudauskas bros.
“My dad was a sales rep for the brand Local Motion from the mid 80’s through the 90’s,” Tanner says. “We were adopted kids for most of the people at that brand during that time and we stay in touch with them to this day.”

Has Tanner officially entered his wall-hanger phase?
With archived footage of Dane Kealoha and Tony Moniz — integral parts of the Local Motion team — alongside Tanner and Dane G at empty Rockies, the above clip is a thoroughly enjoyable (educational?) way to spend your next lunch break.
