Mid-Lengths Are So Hot RN

Craig Anderson spins silk on the Haydenshapes mid-length glider model.

This is not mid-length week here on Stab.

It just so happens that multiple world-class board shapers have released mid-length models this week with corresponding video parts.

Haydenshapes newest release is their mid-length Glider model, see here.

“I think the thing I enjoy most about the glider is catching a lot of waves. Which is probably fun for me, but probably annoying for anyone I’m surfing with. [laughs] Basically, you can catch anything that moves, so you really get more out of your surf,” says Craig Anderson.

“The Mid Length Glider compresses the lines of a typical 9-10ft glider shape into a mid-length genre,” says Hayden Cox. “Paddling fast, the ML Glider will ride sensitively from rail to rail, and allow you to hold fast lines in small and larger waves.”

I’m getting the sense here that mid-lengths are going to be cool about five minutes from now.

My suggestions are to either hop on the bandwagon and buy one early before it’s mainstream or abstain and tell yourself you don’t buy into trends because you’ve self-actualised and transcended social politics.

Just don’t do nothing, unless nothing is watching this edit and buying a glider.
