Michel Bourez Suffers Neck Injury After Intense Wipeout
Pulls out of The ISA Games as a precaution.
Michel Bourez suffered a neck injury from a critical slam at the ISA World Games. Given this is the third time this specific injury has hindered Bourez’s surfing, Team France’s doctor urged him to pull out of the event. Bourez is waiting for his MRI results to come back before he decides on a recovery plan.
Currently ranked #27 on the WCT, Bourez only has 13 days until the the next event at Kelly’s Surf Ranch.
