Kirra’s Not the Only Wave that Cooks on an East Swell

We admit, it’s easy to get carried away with the Kirra hype when an east swell hits the coast.

In our defense, Kirra is probably the best wave in Australia, if not in the world, and this last swell was indeed very special. But that doesn’t mean we should neglect the other east coast waves that cooked over the weekend. For instance…Narrabeen.

The sacred sandbar showed glimpses of glory for its loyal constituents, as seen in the video above. It’s nowhere near the perfection of Kirra, but it does look damn fun.
