2019 World Champ Italo Ferreira Breaks His Nose On Air Gone Awry

Today on Instagram, 2019 World Champ Italo Ferreira revealed that he had broken his nose while practicing for the Margaret River Pro. You can see how it happened below.

Considering Italo’s high spirits in the video and caption (kkk = hahaha, not support for a certain American terrorist group), plus the relative irrelevance of one’s nose in surfing (shout out Tomo), we’d have to assume that Italo still plans on competing in the upcoming Margaret River Pro.

Also worth noting: Italo was fined by the WSL for his recent outburst at the Rip Curl Pro Bells. No reports on whether or not he’s apologized to Mick Fanning for smashing his face on that poster.
