France Goes XXF On Eve Of Quiksilver Festival!
And the bank is looking goooood.
If, by now, you haven’t warmed up to the idea of a surf trip to Southwest France in the autumn, then there is no sense in trying to raise the temperature of your ice-cold veins.
For the rest of us, it is a dream. And even if that dream has already been realized, it is one that we try our best to relive.
Case in point: This week in general.
Crisp mornings have been morphing into 30-degree sunny days, then morphing back again with gorgeous sunsets in between. Overhead swell has been met with the offshore winds. And offshore winds have been met with many of the surfers who are about to take part in the almighty Quiksilver Festival.
Proper XXF (fun).
This year’s fest will run from September 20 – 28, and we have a full event preview dropping tomorrow. For now, here’s a little tease of who’s coming:
So you’ve got everything from friendly neighborhood dragon slayers to current top 10 surfers to former CT event winners and general legends and even a good chance at the GOAT (you never know until he’s in front of you).
Thus far, the wave of the week goes to Noa Duopoy. But this run of swell ain’t over just yet.
