This Is What A Winter With Coco Ho and Stephanie Gilmore Looks Like

“I wasn’t really planning on filming something this winter,” Juliette Lacome tells us, regarding her new clip. “I was just going to hang with Coco and my friends. The idea to make this film happened when I got here and linked up with Hayden Garfield.”
Hayden, mentored by both Ryan Miller and Morgan Maassen, brings a cinéma vérité approach to the Hawaiian scenery — enabling us to feel as though we’re just tagging along for a surf with North Shore royalty. Though Pacific Visions shows shades of Maassen’s latest film with Malia Manuel, Hayden and Juliette have created something entirely their own.
The sparkling contributions from Laura Enever, Coco Ho, and Steph Gilmore don’t hurt either.
“Coco is like a sister,” Juliette says. “Whenever I’m in Hawaii, she does everything she can to make me feel at home. She’s dope, and it’s great to have surf buddies in Hawaii.”
Not everyone can say their surf buddies are World Champions (or Electric Acid Surfboard stars).
