El Niño Lights A Fire Under Europe’s Ass

“Men are more easily governed through their vices,” said French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, “than through their virtues.”

Part of Stab Highway’s job is to celebrate surfing’s virtue and vice.

Surfing’s always blended comradery and commitment with debauchery and scallywagging.

Remember Noa Deane’s bong rip on the stairs of the Sydney Opera House?

Episode 1 of Stab Highway Europe premieres 10 days from now on July 27th. It all starts off in Hossegor, the general location of the clip you’ll see above.

The Stab Highway team got it fun… but not as cooking as the keg-carnival that French standouts like Jeremy Flores and Marc Lacomare enjoy here.

But El Niño isn’t just sending swell Europe’s way. It’s also sending record temperatures to southern Europe.

It’s been sweltering, to use that sexy, Gatsbyesque word that denotes summer flings and upper-class drama.

SWELTERING!

P.S. If you missed our exclusive interview with the elusive El Niño, here it is.
