The Frigid World Of Irish Big Wave Surfing

My parents spit into those DNA test tubes a few weeks back, and it turns out, I’m  (30%) Irish. I assumed my fascination with MMA fighter Connor McGregor was fueled by his whiskey, not his heritage. 

   The DNA results also noted that I am 0% Conor Maguire. While a slightly overhead set is enough to make my heart beat out of my chest, Maguire finds himself cozy inside the belly of Ireland’s most ferocious beasts. The fearless traits he received from his Irish ancestry are different than the ones I got. Conor finds his courage sizing up enormous Irish kegs, while I seek false confidence after four too many beers.
