Cali Man Throws Twin Fin Fiesta
Josiah Amico checks out down south.
Josiah Amico popped on our radar a few years back after stylishly dismantling waves in between shifts bagging groceries at Trader Joe’s.
But thanks to a deal with Vissla, Josiah has been able to spend more time packing barrels and less time packing the meat aisle. So Josiah took advantage of an active southern hemi season to find shade amid a scorching Mexican summer. Josiah has stated his distain for the “surfers as athletes” branding that has become so prevalent in today’s commercially driven world. That’s why this edit is his PTO. Paid time off never looked so good.
Filmed and edited by Nate Cox, with additional clips thrown in by Brian Elliott, Josiah makes Mexico look tastier than tajin on the rim of a margarita. His jaunt below the border also shows off the versatility of Channel Islands’ two-fin quiver. Grab a Twin-Pin for tubes and a Free Scrubber for turns. Muy bien!
Watch Josiah’s clips above and don’t trip at the checkout aisle.
