As Good As New Jersey Gets
Rob Kelly, Sam Hammer and more indulge in a late-season feast.
Easter has already come and gone, but there were several chocolate nugs to be found on the east coast this week.
A delightful snack, if you didn’t mind doing an assortment of neoprene gloves, booties, hoods and 5-millimeter suits to find it. New Jersey’s beachies were cooking a few days ago, and Rob Kelly just dropped the highlights from barrel fest on his channel. Filmed and edited by Ryan Simalchik, other hole-dwellers include Sam Hammer, Ben Gravy, Pat Schmidt, and last but not least, Stab’s own Mikey Ciaramella.
Windy, cold, and not exactly small, the waves look as good as they are tricky. And yet, with spring conditions in full bloom and summer on the horizon, days like this don’t come around often on the east coast. They must be squeezed until the last drop.
