Luke Griffin is a 20-year old from Tauranga on New Zealand’s north island.

His latest clip “smoothie bowl” documents him surfing up and down the east and west coast of NZ “in search of the perfect left”.

Scoring the perfect left is a lofty ambition when you consider the quality of waves like Skeleton Bay, Teahupoo, Mundaka, Kandui, Chicama, etc at their best. Luke does however find fun, running left walls that look inviting despite the chill.
