A Magnificent Paddle Session At Teahupoo

Teahupoo had it it’s moments on Friday August 13, 2021.

An unrelenting swell sucked every last water molecule off the reef and regurgitated it in a rather aggressive manner. Given its mammoth size, the majority of the surfers opted for jet-ski assist throughout the day.

The paddle session didn’t happen until Saturday, the 14th, when the buoy read slightly less terrifying numbers. Despite a dying swell, it was still well overhead and offered plenty of standing room for Nathan Florence, Eimeo Czermak, and more.
