Life Hack: Find A Partner Who Rips

Just last week, the Southern Pacific huffed its near-final breath, and Central America’s coastline livened up for one last dry-season hurrah. Lakey Peterson and her husband, Thomas Allan, decided to sample the last bits of summertime juice, heading down to the land of agave and roping right-handers. 

What they’ve returned with is some straight-to-the-point digital documentation of a clearly successful swell chase. Slaloming through sandy funnels and tagging quivering lip lines, Lakey and Tom make a convincing case for finding a significant other who can surf. Hard to beat sharing empty Mexican lineups with just your partner – unless they’re sweltering on the beach filming you, of course.

Also, it looks like Lakey has been working on her air game. We’re guessing she heard what Caity, Sierra and the rest of the Ladybirds were doing at Vans Stab High Presented by Monster Energy and didn’t want to be left out.
