Shane Sykes Takes A Torque Heavy Stroll Through J Bay

There’s a time and place for airs. 

Aerials showcase a surfer’s acrobatic abilities and offer a sense of variety when the world seems too top-to-bottom.

There is also a proper setting for some good old-fashioned power surfing, and pumping J Bay is prime real estate. Shane Sykes scored a few quality sets at the tall standing right (as he tends to do) and gave us all the reason to stop trying those unforgiving above-the-lip maneuvers.
