Welcome to Stokehouse Unlimited, Paul Naude’s latest project and the umbrella of two new brands that you’ll like: Vissla, a surf and apparel company, and D’Blanc, an eyewear and accessory company. With a name like Stokehouse Unlimited you can’t really expect anything but good vibes, and the new projects, which launch March 25, 2014, deliver on that front in spades.

Vissla is all about creators and innovators. It’s a men’s surf brand targeting 12 to 25-year-old males, offering a full men’s line that includes trunks, walks, teos, wovens, fleece, jackets and pants.

D’Blanc is where chaos meets culture and becomes Italian crafted eyewear. It’s an accessory company in essence, with a focus on eyewear that fits between the $90 to $120 price range, which is certainly reasonable.

There’ll also be a third line to follow in 2015, a juniors brand that’s still a work in prog.

Stokehouse Unlimited is all about the youth surf market. In a time when the new gen like the details, it makes sense.

Vissla is a clothing brand that represents creative freedom, a forward-thinking philosophy, and a generation of creators and innovators. We embrace the modern do-it-yourself attitude within surf culture, performance surfing, and craftsmanship. This is a surf-everything and ride-anything mentality.”

D’Blanc is the product of life without reserve. Chaos meets culture where fashion meets revolution. Our focus is to create quality Italian-made eyewear that defines a feeling. Ain’t no time for indecision. This is about now.”

And, here’s four things that we learned from Transworld Biz: The company is privately funded, because Paul would prefer to have to answer to himself. The staffing will be leaner and meaner. He’ll be feeling out and letting instinct lead the change. And, Paul will be surfing more, for critical perspective and inspiration: “I don’t intend on surfing any less. I intend on surfing more. I had five months where I surfed every day. It gave me a completely new perspective of surfing in Southern California.”

As you’ll see from the slob and burly into-the-wind full rote, South-African Brendon Gibbens is on Vissla. But you’ll have to wait and see who else will be riding under the banner.
