Surfing With One of Dane’s Signature Rules in Mind

The clip above reminds me of Dane Reynold’s Electric Acid Surfboard Test. There’s a part where Dane mentions that he doesn’t enjoy going straight on a surfboard. He’s more comfortable with his weight on one rail or the other. While Bryan Perez hasn’t made a verbal statement on the subject, his surfing is a subtle nod to Dane’s claim.

Bryan Perez is El Salvador’s finest surfing specimen, and his recent edit from Punta Roca will show you why. Barrels, airs, and rails are the criteria for today’s high-performance crowd, and Perez checked each box with a jumbo Crayola.
