Stab High Presented By Monster Energy Is Coming To China
The biggest air section in the game. Live from Riyue Bay, Hainan, November 13th and 14th.
Well, this wasn’t exactly where we thought we’d end up.
Earlier this year, we announced Stab High would be heading back to Australia, with Sydney pencilled in as our next stop.
Unfortunately, pool maintenance got in the way.
To be clear, the Sydney pool is still open and operating. The mandatory maintenance schedule happened to land across the dates we needed, which made running Stab High there impossible.
So, we went looking elsewhere; and somehow ended up in China.
On November 13th and 14th, Stab High presented by Monster Energy is coming to Riyue Bay Surf Resort in Hainan, China. The large island on the southernmost tip of China is home to the country’s first PerfectSwell pool and — more importantly for our purposes — what might be the largest chlorinated air section currently available to mankind.
Coco Ho and Parker Coffin recently spent some time in the pool. Their primary report was that the ramp is enormous and remarkably easy to launch off. Coco was allegedly doing some of the biggest airs of her life. And, by her own admission, Coco Ho doesn’t really do airs.

Friday, November 13th will host the Qualifying Rounds, before the field gets trimmed for Finals on Saturday, November 14th.
And yes, the whole thing will be broadcast live for our Stab Premium members.
Monster Energy is presenting this edition of Stab High, with Vans, YETI, Sun Bum and Quiksilver joining us in China for two days of irresponsible above-the-lip behavior.
