Watch: The Most Entertaining Skunk We’ve Seen With Vans Europe

A one week getaway to the Northeast Atlantic results in few waves but many good times.

It’s different on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.

The locals aren’t trying to keep anybody out of the water; it’s actually quite the opposite, at least according to Cornwall native and Vans Europe team rider, Seb Smart.

I’m proud of where I’m from and love showing people around. It’s memories created that’ll stay forever,” Smart said.

Accompanied by fellow goofy-foots and Vans team members, Adrien Toyon and Ainara Aymat, Smart patrolled the uncrowded lineups of his kingdom, known to the residents as Land’s End. Escorting the trio around Cornwall, Smart gave the group a taste of the wild landscapes, mysterious castles, tasty fish and charming locals that he has known since gromhood.

“My favourite thing about the trip was the response from the locals. They often suggested that they hadn’t seen many new faces in the area before,” said Smart. “I remember being a grom and getting so stoked every time I saw a pro surfer out in the sea. It was always inspirational. So now, seeing those same looks from the locals makes me feel proud. It’s those moments that remind me of my roots and how special these sorts of things are.”

The cinematic value alone should be enough for you to click play, but don’t overlook Smart and co. as they rip into the beautiful, blue-walled lefts of Cornwall, England.
