Tom Curren joins his old-time rival, Occy, for another installation of the revered vodcast, the Occ-Cast.

Dive in to hear the two World Champs discuss everything from their acclaimed 80’s rivalry, Tom’s musicianship, the Huntington beach riots, to watching the modern day WSL.

The 3x World Champ, Curren, is currently beating Occ in head-to-head battles, 10-9, which has Occ pining for a rematch – WSL endorsed or not.

The boys also discuss the losses that hurt the most: Tommy is still recovering from his Oakley Pro loss in the Semi’s to a superhuman Occy and there’s a J-Bay heat that continues to haunt Occ to this day.

Tom also chats about sourcing a proper single-fin, and the new backyard contraptions he’s been working on, such as a skimboard composed of bamboo. Curren’s Californian disciple, Dane Reynolds also makes the conversation as the two discuss his revolutionary approach to surfing both in and out of a jersey.

Tune into the 29th episode and find out about all of the above; as well as whether Tommy would prefer playing a packed out stadium or solo-surfing eight-foot Jeffreys.
