Jack Freestone and Alana Blanchard are on the Gold Coast. Jack lives there, and Jack and Alana are lovers, so Alana is visiting. The run around from Greenmount to the top of Snapper is a very long one, so if you’re surfing with a pal, or your gal, it’s worth waiting for some company. Which is where we find Jack and Alana, surfing Snapper and doing the runaround. Or, light stroll in this case. With the Roxy Pro starting on March 1, Alana will no doubt be putting in some time before first siren. Jack also plays caddy/coach for Alana, a favour she repaid by paddling out at huge Sunset with Jack’s spare board during the Vans World Cup of Surfing.
