Dane Reynolds Last Interview…For A While
Spare 40 minutes for a gentleman we’ve seen a curious amount of this week.
Did you miss Dane? Are you sick of him? Of course not! With the addition of twin girls to his clan, a Former part releasing, and this 40 minute Occ-Cast, it’s clear Dane Reynolds is very busy. However, Occy’s not-so-busy schedule was wide open for whenever Mr Reynolds had a moment.
Episode #24 of Mark Occhilupo’s Occ-Cast is a peek into performance surfing, dating pre-twins. The pair sit next to his chicken coup, reminisce on being arrested in Portugal, political misadventures of the ‘free’ country and the time Dane spent in the competition jersey. “I spent my whole career making up excuses in my head. I just couldn’t handle the pressure. I preferred doing surf trips with my friends. Nowadays, I’m envious of the Brazilians, they have this travel ‘family’ of friends who all stay together. I just felt so isolated when I was traveling on tour”.
