Store bio:
In August of 2009, Saturdays opened its doors on a small, cobblestone street in SoHo as New York’s premier downtown surf shop. Determined to suit a lifestyle occupied with surfing, living and working in New York City, Saturdays began selling boards and wetsuits while sourcing and selling books, fine art and other lifestyle accessories. Today, Saturdays has grown from a small downtown shop to an international lifestyle brand, which designs and produces its own line of menswear.
The brand has expanded to include four retail locations globally, including two locations in Manhattan, a flagship store in Tokyo, and outpost in Kobe, Japan. Since it establishment, Saturdays has become synonymous with high-quality craftsmanship, minimalist ethos, and traditional style. The four retail locations continue to serve as a hangout for some of the globe’s most influential artists, surfers and thinkers, all of whom have helped redefine what it means to live, work and surf in New York City and beyond.
Vibe/Ethos:
Laid-back, minimal, urban escape.
