While Everyone Flocked To Tahiti, Kelly Stayed in Jbay

Just because the comp ends, doesn’t mean Kelly is leaving.

After the recent CT event in South Africa, Kelly Slater and Jordy Smith stuck around J-Bay for a new swell. While it wasn’t quite as impressive as the comp conditions, K&J reveled in the clean surf and minimal crowds.

To continue his South African board saga, Kelly “borrowed” the 5’8 Tomo Hydroshort in this edit from the Ginz and Country Feeling Shop right at Jeffrey’s, then proceeded to insert five fins in it.

Not sure if it’ll be in the bag for Tahiti, but it seemed to suit these waves well enough.
