Secret spot, New Zealand

Dreamy, isn’t it? Before you jump in your 4×4 and start scouring the coast of New Zealand with a fine-tooth comb and a pair of binoculars, know this: The secret spot you see above, which looks to us a helluva lot like a cold-water Panama, isn’t accessible by car. That’s pro junior Alex Dive on the left, and tucking under the right is owner of NZ surf company RPM, Mike Smith. So if you wanna surf here, getting to know either one of these guys is a good start. Or changing you citizenship to Kiwi. Photog Nat Layton, while adamant that the the spot was not to be named, assured us that it’s definitely one of the funnest beach breaks he’s ever seen.
