Stance Surf Legends: Occy, Pottz, Archy, Fletcher And The Toms

Our sport is a visual feast. And it’s a sad fact that the digital age (and its short memory) will be responsible for losing some of surfing’s best moments over the last decade and the coming one. But there was a time, the golden age of surf photography, when moments were easier to immortalise. And perhaps no one has captured more of these enduring moments than Jeff Divine.

Visionary and Legend are two liberally-used terms, but Jeff is deserving of both. He’s responsible for some of our culture’s greatest ever photographs – many of which you’ll be familiar with (even if you didn’t know he shot them). And it’s these photos that form the basis for Stance’s new collection, Surf Legends.

Bravo to Stance for celebrating these moments in yet another medium (this time, a comfortable one).
