Watch: Jordy Smith In “Just Now”
19-minutes or one casually sipped libation.
In surf media, it’s easy to pass by the terror and dismay of the outside world. Frankly, it’s why we exist, not to ignore pertinent issues, but to provide a reprieve from the gravity of the modern headline.
We present to you Jordy Smith’s first full-length film since Now Now (2013) entitled Just Now. In a fast paced year, between pulling into the second spot behind John Florence on the CT, Jordy and filmmaker Dane Staples shot throughout Europe, South Africa, Namibia and Hawaii. They spliced it to (mostly) classic rock and let it roll for 19-minutes. While the world becomes increasingly frantic, pour a drink, switch this on, and revel in the aptitude of the big man from ZAF.
