Noa Deane channels 90’s Rusty into capsule joint

Noa Deane’s our favourite surf larrikin. The Quiky Pro’s a serious deal if you’re in the biz; Every industry head, budding contest warrior, flat-brimmed fist-bumper is in town keeping up appearances, and there’s Noa, sitting on the couch at Stab‘s mobile HQ, eating chips, and asking the important questions, like, “How long do you think it’d take you to drink the thirty cases of Corona (that the fine gang at the world’s most premium Mexican beer had recently dropped off) if you couldn’t leave the house and had the food of your choice on tap?” Noa’s a marketing manager’s dream, but you don’t get to be the hero of surfing’s faction of anti-establishment by doing what your masters tell you, and Noz’s market value only goes up when he does something like that thing that he did at the Surfer Poll that was an absolute storm in a teacup. Being owned by the R dot, Noz obviously has to wear their threads. That’s what they pay him for. But being the crafty devil that he is, Noz came up with a genius plan to keep it real. He went on eBay and searched for vintage Rusty threads. Being a 90’s throwback, it was the perfect ploy to keep his edge. Now, thanks to Rusty and Swell, Noz doesn’t have to buy clothes from a bygone era. They’ve taken the good parts of 90’s surfwear (there were some!), and blended it with right now, to come up with Noa’s very own capsule. It’s stripes and Cobain and vintage pastel logos.
