Meet Your Stab High Wilcard

As it turned out we had a free space to throw another Stab High surfer in the Waco pool, and last week Stab and Surfstitch handed responsibility over to you to fill it (don’t say we never give you anything!).

After all, you’ll be the ones watching, while we’ll probably be pacing the BSR Grounds, chasing our tails organising heats, bands, (or more likely, beverages) and assorted entertainment. 

Anyway, we dropped a link to vote for in our SurfStitch, Unchained wildcard mechanic and a barrage of responses ensued.

Watching the stats tumble in, the lead changed at least five times over the one week that the voting was open.

Surfers rallied their troops; friends, family, industry and even some gorg Baywatch actress all mobilised across social media to get their beloved in that high performance, strange-coloured, Texan pond. 

Now time is up, the people have spoken, our friends at SurveyMonkey have counted the votes, and Blair Conklin, the foam wielding, disc spinning gent from Laguna Beach has officially received his invite to Stab High on September 22, 2018.
