We Broke Sobriety Mid Week For Good Reason

Our talent never showed and to make matters worse, Stab‘s film producer rolled in with a bacon and egg roll and a tray of coffee after signing off the evening sometime around 5am.

“We sent it,” he sighed, knowing that he’d be replacing the absent cast. You see, we were supposed to produce a film today. Well at least capture the accompanying narration audio. However, a party got in the way of that. Hours later, after a number of shaky takes, we’d tracked enough of his voice for the piece, then the party photos landed in our inbox.

Our friends at Globe know how to host a thumping evening and it’s during occasions like this, the harsh and revelatory flash of a Life Without Andy lens is never more than arms reach away. There isn’t a collective of party photogs that have had to grit their teeth as much as the gents of LWA (evidence of more, above). Throw in a tower of pizza boxes, free drinks, giveaways and wash of attractive heads and you’ve got a night worth attempting to remember. 

The reason for the hump day Club 77 gathering? LWA and Globe put a range together; tees, totes, shorts and the like, an ode to after hours activities. Halfway Crooks provided the soundtrack while Instagram sensations bumped about stuffing their faces with thin and crispy. Someone took home a surfboard, the rest, a hangover.
