Wanna Be Really, Truly Inspired?
Semi Permanent is Australia’s best creative festival.
I’m not sure I would’ve ever attended Semi Permanent, had it not been for Stab’s publisher being invited to present one year (what a wild ride that was). I assumed Semi Perm was simply a design festival, and given that (attempting) the written word is my main craft, I didn’t think it’d mean all that much to me. How wrong I was. And I haven’t missed one since.

From artwork to in-depth conversations with the world’s top creatives, Semi Permanent presents the richest of offerings for the innovative mind.
This is three-days dedicated to the creative sphere at its most progressive. It’s grown aggressively and incessantly since its inception, and this year’s program should alert you to the heft the event now carries; Oliver Stone (yup, the gent who scripted Scarface, Natural Born Killers, Midnight Express, Wall Street and so many more), speakers from Google, Vice, Nike, DesignStudio, Animal Logic, 72andSunny, Getty Images, Tesla, and more pertinently, Sea Shepherd, plus way more.

The Oliver Stone is just one of many esteemed speakers common at Semi Permanent.
Semi Permanent is about looking behind, looking around, and looking forward, through presentations, discussion panels, experiential jams and everything else a young (or old) creative might like to absorb, or immerse themselves in. It’s eye-opening, to say the least, and comes with plenty of fun in the peripherals.

Make yourself comfortable, take a picture, and stay awhile.
And unsurprisingly, it’s nearly sold out. If you have any interest in this world, Stab highly recommends a ticket transaction as soon as possible, which you can do here.

Join the enlightened masses.
