Stab Recommends: 5 Things We Use Daily

Practical, not aspirational.

It’s easy to fill these with things we like the look of and suspect might make our lives just a little less dreary, could we afford them.

It’s a little dishonest however, and a touch pointless too. So, for this edition it’s a whip ’round of stuff that various staff members have managed to blag/borrow “for a shoot” and chosen to never return. Hey, retail’s for suckers and we really like this stuff.

A Traveller’s Ideal Duffel

A gentleman traveler is only as good as the bag by his side—or, in this case, comfortably upon his back. Incase has come to define minimalist, slick luggage, and their Tracto Duffel is as handsome as it is practical.

Streamline your travel game.

Not A Wasted Collab

We’ve expressed previously our soft spot for Wasted Talent mag/boutique/whatever else they’re into, and further tip the hat to their Globe collab. A leather-bound silhouette fit for the cafe, dance-floor, surf check and everything in between.

The perfect blend of looks and comfort.

The Ultimate Leisurely Button Down

No one does weekend attire as well as Banks Journal, and the latest take on their Nashua short sleeve button down will handle anything you get into on a warm Saturday evening, and still handle a boozy Sunday brunch.

Embrace short sleeves and buttons.

Throwback Shades With a Twist Of Modernity

Wonderland’s an LA brand whose wares reflect the sun-drenched city in which they reside. We had a rummage through their stores the other day and these are what we picked up: throwback outline, with beach glass frames and green lenses for a modern twist.

Hide behind handsome shades.

More Than Useful Tote

Surfers make good luggage designers. The new Octopus range is a testament to that. Take this tote: waterproof, durable, a simplistic design that’s fit for carry on, the supermarket, city or the beach.

Tough and useful as hell.
