Scenes From Sunday’s Vans North Shore Skate Jam
Devil Winds be damned, the concretes always six-foot and glassy!
As the Devil Winds blew the North Shore to pieces Sunday afternoon, a star-studded skate session went down, as a pack descended on the concrete bowls just a stone’s throw across Kam Highway from Rockpiles.
Playing gracious Triple Crown hosts as always, the Vans crew pulled out all the stops for their low-key, legendary Sunday skate jam. John Cardiel spun records, keeping the PMA flowing through the afternoon, with everyone from Nathan Fletcher to Balaram Stack to Ivan Florence rolling through, punting healthy airs for the gathered crowd, while local standout Evan Mock stole the show.
Our man Sam Moody trotted over to take in the scene and came back with the images above and below, for your appreciation.
Evan Mock put on an absolute clinic for the hometown crowd.
