The San Diegan goofyfoot and atypical shaper, Ryan Burch, has been an eclectic figure in the crossover between avant-garde artistry and stylish surfing for close to two decades. Burch, however, isn’t the sort of alt-left surfer you can lump into the typical stereotype.

Ryan has danced his way through nearly every surf drift, ranging from a high-performance grommet-hood, asymmetrically adorations, foam-blank sliding or a trip back to the twin-laden 70’s for some groomed Peruvian jiving in Psychic Migrations.

For the past 15 years, Ryan’s been directing his ingenuity towards the Volcom team and in celebration of the pair’s anniversary, Volcom are releasing an apparel line designed by the boisterous Mr Burch, “a combination of my style and classic Volcom”.

If the pairing of Burch and Volcom awaken your inner fashionista, then point your cursor here and score yourself a pair of eye adorned trunks. Any purchase from the range of garments also puts your name in the punch bowl for a chance to win a Ryan Burch twin-fin, hand-shaped (like the one below!).

The killer collaborative range is available in Aus right now and will be available in the US and Europe in March and April, respectively.
