Jack McCoy just hit us up and is eager to give away a couple of tickets to the launch of his upcoming Talk Story Tour. This Saturday McCoy will be sitting down and chatting with Kai Neville and Craig Anderson at the lux Museum of Contemporary Art. They’ll also be premiering Anderson’s new joint, “The Quieter You Are The More You Can Hear.”
As part of his Talk Story Tour with VIVID Ideas, McCoy, GoPro and The Perfect Wave have conspired to launch a new filmmaker competition to uncover and support Australia’s next big talent in surf filmmaking. Stab’s happy to facilitate the effort and will be posting updates and submissions when they properly blow our mind.
The contest calls on up-and-coming, young-gun surf filmmakers to submit their best surf sequences for a shot. The winner gets an all-expense paid trip to the Maldives, an arsenal of GoPro gear, and mentoring sessions with McCoy and Neville.
The gig with McCoy, Neville and Anderson is this Saturday in Sydney at 2pm. If you’re keen on going, shoot us a DM and we’ll pick a winner at random.
