Craig Anderson x Jason Woodside x HaydenShapes— Style Is Radiating
From the walls of NYC, LA and Paris to the water hills of NSW and the South Coast.
Surfboards are one the greatest works of art. Craftsman honed, a canvas to paint on and draw lines underfoot which disappear with the rolling swell. They’ve been featured in art galleries, there’s a slew of blades in NYC’s MOMA at this very moment. It’s generally accepted that a board is beyond a recreational vehicle. So, Hayden Cox of HaydenShapes, who we’ve repeatedly noted as being at the forefront of innovation within his profession has brought on New York Artist, Jason Woodside to do an exclusive line of board art. Jason’s work can be found smattered across large-scale outdoor murals in cities such as New York City, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Paris. His recent collabs and commissions include, Saatchi&Saatchi, Adidas, Brooks Brothers, Faberge and Hello Kitty.
“Jason Woodside is one of my favorite artists,” says Hayden. “I am lucky enough to own a few of his original paintings and have them displayed in my house. Having him collaborate with us on this project has been a huge highlight. The response to HSSTUDiO has been overwhelming and this particular artwork option is so unique and original.”
So here’s Ando, in bright colours, geometric shapes and familiar poise with a HS Merlot.
