What The CT Wishes Hossegor Was Like Right Now

In the lead up to an event, our feeds, streams, and go-to surf media sites are littered with images and videos of the top-32 lucking into playful surf days before the event is scheduled. Only for the waiting period to arrive and bring with it a bunch of wind, junk, and largely incontestable conditions. 

So while you anxiously wait for some marginally better waves to arrive upon the French shore (don’t expect much, the forecast is mediocre at best) we thought you might enjoy the highlights of a single session at Hossegor prior to the ill-timed waiting period.

It features Yago Dora, Pat Gudauskas, Kanoa Igarashi, Mikey February, Owen Wright and handful of others at Hossegor that’s unrecognisable compared to its current state.

According to Martxel Txintxurreta, the clips filmer and editor, Mikey Feb was leading the pack amongst the water but Owen firmly stood out while shooting from land.
