What Happens When The Florence Brothers Watch Stab in the Dark

“We were supposed to rest today, but we surfed five hours.”

That’s how Nate Florence opened this vlog, which was filmed prior to the 2019 Championship Tour season but was released just a few days back.

“We just watched Stab in the Dark, so we’re all fired up,” said Nate. “Gonna go try and surf like Mick Fanning!”

In Nate’s defense, it’s hard to rest after watching White Lighting in action. It’s also probably hard to rest when your backyard is Log Cabins.

And who needs rest days anyway? Kolohe Andino is up at 3:30 a.m. laughing at your rest day. Italo drinks eight cups of coffee every morning and sleeps once a week. Maybe John would have beaten Brother in the semis at D-Bah if he hadn’t taken that half-year of “rest days” because of his “knee injury” (just kidding, John).
