This clip from Scotty Hammonds and the folks at Red Bull will have you slack-jawed, Taj Burrow, Jack Robinson, Jay Davies, Dina Adrian and some West Oz loc-dawgs having cracks at some of the craziest dredging West Oz sandbank pits we’ve ever seen.

With Cyclone Marcus spinning in just the right spot, long-period power found itself into some of the most fickle nooks and crannies on the fabled coastline, resulting in one of the most memorable West Oz sessions in recent memory. 

According to the Red Bull crew, a normally lake-flat sandbar turned on for the first time since Cyclone Bianca seven years ago—”a thundering right hand tube breaking metres from dry sand… Jay Davies and Dino Adrian stole the show, alongside cameos from Jack Robinson, Taj Burrow, Shanan Worrall, Andrew Semark and Phil Read to name but a few… Scotty Hammonds shot (with additional crazy water footage from Tom Jennings).”
