Watch: “Floater”- The Introduction Of The Invisible Surfboard

13 years after Spike Jonze and Girl Skateboards’ film, Yeah Right! surf has finally perfected the invisible board. Here filmmaker, skateboarder and vagabond Instagram celebrity (for good reason) Foster Huntington reveals a clip (worked on by an array of ladies and gentlemen: see below) with Christ issued special effects. Using green surfboards like a weatherman’s green screen technology, the board is taken out post production. Many have tried, but this is the first legitimate surf edit of its kind. Filmed over winter at the growingly famous Santa Barbara sandbar, Ryan Burch, Trevor Gordon, Travers Adler and Spencer Gordon float through tunnels and sections with no foam attached. Here’s a dose of visual stimuli to assist whatever your plans are today.
