Wade Goodall, Creed McTaggart, And Shaun Manners Have Fun In The Surf

Surfing is now in the Olympics, the WSL leader wears a gold jersey, and the music being cut to hi-fi clips is god damn atrocious. I’m not one to call surfing a sport, but of late, it’s been hard not to. Everyone’s taking their ocean pursuits so damn seriously: going to the gym instead of surfing, not obliterating yourself on the nosé a night before your heat, and all around looking like a bunch of ‘athletes’. 

The Fun Boys are the anti-thesis of the surfing athlete. As the name suggests, they’re about fun, because that’s why we all started surfing in the first place. Forget your stretching, forget your colour coordination, and forget spending a couple months cutting your Instagram edit.

Get out there and surf shit waves, do stupid airs, actually, just don’t give a shit about how you’re surfing at all.
