From Log Cabins past Turtle Bay there’s a different wave less than every 100 yards. In the winter, no matter what the swell angle, a few reefs will light up. This is why it has never been trite to call it the seven-mile miracle… it is just that. And although the epicentre of high-performance surfing lies at Rocky Point, a lot of the stand out surfing takes place at Off The Wall where the vast majority of companies rent their houses for the season. And obviously, Pipe (a maybe three-minute walk from OTW) is the golden child when it’s on.
