This Twinny Just Won't Snap, Despite William Aliotti's Best Efforts

Some boards are just built different.

Despite how many closeouts you take or airs thrown to the flats, they just won't snap. Maybe it’s an expert glass job, maybe it’s an extra-twangy stringer that just doesn't seem to give. Whatever it is, we’d love to know where Ryan Lovelace got the blank for William Aliotti’s beloved 5’3 keel.

This board has survived a full edit of pumping Indo waves, massive air sections at the beginning of this clip, and a trip to Chopes in which William has no problem toying with that West bowl (again, on a 5’3).

William Aliotti’s found a keeper not just in the sense of durability, but function. The guy is literally glued to his board at the 30-second mark with a Wade Goodall-esque “floater air”.  Click in for Catch Fish 2.
