This Is What South America Will Look Like For The Next Three Weeks+
And only locals will be there to surf it...
It takes a lot to get an Irishman off his soggy isle, but as a goofy-foot with a hankerin' for tubes, Gearoid McDaid was summoned by South America's left-hand points.
A far cry from the short, slabbing waves of his homeland, Gearoid did all he could to endure the length of these sand-bottomed suckers, but occasionally the fatigue was too great and he was relegated to the "just chased after the bus for half a kilometer and missed it" hunch.
Despite a stellar surf outlook for the coming weeks, neither Gearoid nor any other traveling pro will be able to chase these waves for the foreseeable future.
Reckon the locals mind?
