The Spice Of Life: Team RVCA’s Hawaiian Vacation
There’s no more eclectic house than the VA on the North Shore.
When talking about variety, there’s no collective team with more than RVCA. From artists to chefs and musicians, surfers to skaters to a few folks that fight rightly into the used and abused “legend” category, RVCA stuffs the pie.
During the hey-bro-hooo-haa that is the first week of December on the North Shore, “RVCAhola” does it better than most. Their house is always crawling with faces ranging from Herbie Fletcher, artists Kevin Ancel and Sage Vaughn, world-renowned chef, Matty Matheson, to surfers and advocates like Danny Fuller, Jay Davies, Al Knost, Ford Archbold, Noah Beschen, Sage Erickson, Landon McNamara, Ricardo Christie, recent Backdoor Shootout champ, Tyler Newton and so many more.
Their house is positioned an enviable location overlooking Off the Wall, Backdoor and Pipeline. If Pipe is bombing off the second reef, there are few better spots to sit on the deck or lawn in the backyard and stare out into roaring energy and brawn with a chilled beverage. All of these reasons are why we’re delighted to feature the house whenever possible. And why during their Aloha week, we went over and shot portraits of their team and advocates (you can view that here).
